PHYSIOTHERAPY

Physical fitness is a state of health and well-being, with the ability to perform daily activities pain-free and push the boundaries of sporting endeavour.

The body needs movement: we all feel better when we’re moving, doing the things we enjoy, moving as efficiently and effectively as possible.  Sadly, we’re often compromised by pain, stiffness or injury.  And this compromises us: how we feel, how we move and how we live our lives.

I specialise in both injury treatment and prevention, using a range of therapeutic techniques to help you to be the best you can be.  Drawing on over 40 years' experience of competitive running, dancing, tennis and cycling, as well as 23 years as a professional practitioner,  I have a broad understanding of the issues faced not only by sports people, but also those recovering from operations, illness, ageing, and everyday aches and pains.

Effective treatment is key to recovery, but treatment can also help prevent injury in the first place.  Why wait till you’re injured, in pain and not doing the active things you want? By investing in your physical health you’ll nurture your body to function optimally.

Every treatment is different, because everyday you are different.
