  • These can be in-person or via phone/Zoom. 

  • A TANITA body composition analysis, NUTRITICS report or blood pressure/blood sugar tests can be included in face-to-face appointments**.

  • In addition, a mini-consult check-in call will be scheduled after your follow-up consultation to offer any additional advice or information specific to your needs.

  • Individual follow-up sessions should be booked within 3 months of your last consultation.

  • Three consultations over 8-12 weeks, scheduled at a pace suitable to your needs. 

  • This programme starts with a 75 minute in-depth consultation to discuss your completed health questionnaire, including your health history to date, your current diet and eating habits, an overview of medication interactions, nutritional supplements and functional testing, if appropriate*.

  • Potential health strategies specific to your goals will be identified.

  • Your Health Plan will identify additional strategies to help address the root causes of your issues or symptoms, with agreed action points for you to follow. 

  • Two further 45-minute follow-up consultations will build on your Health Plans, to help consolidate your new habits or address additional health concerns and goals.

  • In addition, two mini-consult check-in calls will provide enhanced support and motivation, ensuring your accountability help guide your success between consultations.

  • Additional information including explanatory handouts, food swaps and recipes will be provided, according to your needs.  Bespoke meal plans with all recipes and shopping lists can be developed, at an additional charge.

SPORT NUTRITION OPTIMISATION

Due to the individualised nature of your training, sport and dietary needs, other bespoke programmes can be developed specifically for you. These might include any of the following elements:

  • Bespoke, one-to-one sports nutrition programmes following full assessment of your health and dietary needs, over the course of your training block and leading up to your race or event.

  • NUTRITICS dietary analysis applicable to your sport.

  • TANITA body composition analysis.

  • Professional genotype analysis using a specialist Athlete Nutrigenomics DNA Test Panel. This presents elements of your unique DNA profile shown to affect athletic performance.

  • Blood pressure and blood sugar analysis.

  • Testing and assessment of any nutritional deficiencies, gut distress, food intolerances, energy production, digestion and absorption of nutrients, hormonal imbalances and inflammatory or oxidative stress levels.  Functional tests can help determine any suspected underlying issues or to guide direction of your training plan*.

* Supplements may be recommended as well as certain functional tests, conducted either via your GP or with private laboratories.  These are charged in addition to the consultation fee, but the reasons for recommending these will be fully explained as well as the costs, and are by no means obligatory. 

Functional tests can help determine any suspected underlying issues or to guide direction of your health plan, and include a detailed analysis of results.  Whilst Amanda always advocates a ‘food first’ approach, nutritional supplements can be helpful short-term in supporting any nutritional deficiencies or where there is increased need due to health issues or training programmes.
